The Mentone Cricket Club has a long and extensive history in the local area and is extremely proud of its ties to the community. The club was founded in 1888 in the Mentone community and in that time has provided sporting opportunities to a number of young cricketers. Mentone currently fields four Senior turf teams playing Saturdays and Sundays, and 7 Junior teams and a Woolworths Blast program, with over 100 kids playing last season.
